DEKM IN OSCHERSLEBEN - HOME RACE FOR PHILIPP WALSDORF

The second meeting of the DEKM took place on the kart track of the Motorsportarena in Oschersleben, this time together with the ADAC Kart Masters. Qualifying was not satisfying for Philipp, he only reached fourteenth place. The first race did not end so much better, he only ended thirteenth. The second run was better for him so he finished seventh.
On Sunday Philipp performed better, so he could start from seventh position into the first race of the day which he could end sixth. Philipp completed his result list with another seventh place for this weekend. Not really satisfied but motivated for the next races Philipp went home.
Besides meeting his teammates of 2017 there was big news during the event for the DEKM drivers. The races which had not taken place because of the technical difficulties in Wackersdorf during the first race should have been rescheduled in some other race events in Germany. But there could no event be found which had an open time window to put those races in. So IKMedia decided together with Rotax to do the missing races during the Rotax Grand Finals and invited all drivers to this event. So the entire group including karts and material will be taken to Cond/Paraiba in Brazil to race there in the end of November. Excitement and joy was great when the drivers heard that news. So the karting season will be prolonged until the first days of December when the DEKM drivers will take part in an event most drivers can only dream of.
