ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE - HAHN 2016

On June, 18 and 19 2016 Rotax Max Challenge was guest on Hunsrückring in Hahn, maybe for the last time ever. The weather was changing nearly by every minute on Saturday and made it hard for every mechanic to find the right solution for each race. It nearly felt like being on Nürburgring. Nobody knew how to setup the kart for the next stint. After having lots of traffic during qualifying Philipp Walsdorf started form position twenty showing his class by finishing on position nine. On top of this he set the fastest lap of the race. Would he be able to repeat this performance on Sunday?

After warm-up the track became dry and there was no more rain this day. During the start Philipp managed to win two positions, which was the final result after a challenging race.

In the third race of the weekend he was on position eight when a collision ended his race early. Quite sad because it seems that he had been able to fnish in the top ten this weekend. Philipp Walsdorf established himself in the field and showed a remarkable performance. His speed was unbeaten in the rain and a competitive under dry conditions. Driven by the support of Kart Team Timo Scheider there will be more of him in the future.
