ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE KERPEN 2016
PHILIPP WALSDORF CAN ONLY BE STOPPED BY TECHNICAL DEFECT DURING THE ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE IN KERPEN
On the weekend of August, 20 and 21 2016 Rotax Max Challenge had its fourth meeting of this year on Erftlandring, Kerpen. The weekend was hot and sunny and more than 150 participants came to the race. Rotax Max Junior Philipp Walsdorf showed again that he is a high class driver.
After qualifying he was found on position thirteen which was half a second behind the fastest driver. Philipp Walsdorf finished the first race on rank 12.
On Sunday the sky became cloudy and is started to rain. On wet conditions Philipp always feels great which he showed by racing up to position five. In the last race Philipp Walsorf increased by two positions and had just set the fastest lap when his rear bumper fell off. He had to stop and fix it which made him loose two laps and so he finished on position twenty-four.
After all one may consider that he is really feeling at home in Rotax Max Challenge and that he is able to follow the pace of the top of the field. Now he just needs a little bit more luck.
