ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE - WITTGENBORN

Sharing the Rotax Max Challenge on Vogelsbergring in Wittgenborn Philipp Walsdorf started again for Kart Team Timo Scheider. Weather conditions changed from sunny sky to heavy clouds and back.Nearly looked like a symbol for the way the weekend went on for Philipp Walsdorf, who wanted to repeat the good performance he showed on Hunsrückring.

Starting from position eight he was hoping to finish in the top ten of the junors, which would not be easy facing the strong competitors around him. But already in turn one his hope was destroyed by a collision which made him leave the track for a moment and throw him back to position eighteen. By the end of the race he had fought himself back to position fifteen.

On Sunday again he delivered a good performance in the two races winning two more positions in each race finishing on position eleven after all.

Teamleader Christian Scheider was satisfied about the performance of his driver: “Philipp shows great potential. With some more experience he will be able to race with the best.”
